Borussia Dortmund has signed Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka on loan until the end of the season. The loan deal includes an option to buy this upcoming summer worth around $40 million. The transfer was concluded just in time for the winter transfer window to close for Bundesliga clubs on Monday afternoon.

Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, 21, could move to Germany on loan with Borussia Dortmund to get his career back on track after an ill-fated spell at Stamford Bridge.

Chukwuemeka, 21, has not featured in the Premier League for Chelsea this season and has only started one match in the Conference League.
