Manchester City have secured the signing of midfielder Nico Gonzalez from Porto for a fee of €60 million (£49.9m/$62.1m). Gonzalez has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract and is City’s fourth signing of the window following the arrivals of Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis.

Omar Marmoush (£59m), Abdukodir Khusanov (£33.5m), Vitor Reis (£29.6m) and Claudio Echeverri (£12.5m) had all been brought in earlier in the transfer window, with Nico Gonzalez now joining late on deadline day. The midfielder joins City from Porto in a £50m deal, signing a four-and-a-half-year at the Etihad.
