The Oklahoma City Thunder have made a draft pick trade with the Charlotte Hornets as the NBA Trade Deadline draws near on Thursday. The Thunder helps its pile of assets get kicked down the road.

The Thunder acquired the Denver Nuggets' 2030 second-round draft pick from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for the Phoenix Suns' 2029 second-round pick.

As the best team in the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder don't need to make a desperate or splashy move ahead of the Feb. 6 NBA trade deadline. However, they have 30 draft picks over the next six years and have plenty of cheap, tradeable players, so if they want to make a move, they certainly can.
