The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said a Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) substitute teacher was charged after assaulting a student on Sept. 25, 2024. FCPD said that Child Protective Services (CPS) received information that a substitute teacher had assaulted a student at Dogwood Elementary School.
