RAMALLAH/JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The Israeli military blew up several buildings in the occupied West Bank on Sunday in a series of simultaneous explosions that the Palestinian state news agency said had leveled around 20 buildings in the Jenin refugee camp.

Three U.S. Army soldiers were onboard a BlackHawk helicopter that collided with a passenger jet near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, U.S. officials said on Wednesday.

Israeli military operations in Jenin and Tulkarm have resulted in the deaths of six Palestinians, including a child.

The war began on October 7, when Hamas-led militants launched a deadly incursion into southern Israel, killing around 1,200 people, most of them civilians, and abducting 250 others. Currently, more than 90 hostages remain in captivity in Gaza, with a third feared dead.
