Kensington Place released a photo of a smiling Princess of Wales in honor of World Cancer Day on Monday. According to the palace’s post on X, the photo was taken by her six-year old son Prince Louis. It shows Catherine with arms outstretched atop a log in a forest.

"Don't forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease," the picture was captioned on Instagram. The Princess of Wales signed the post off with a 'C' which stands for Catherine, her full first name. The post also includes a second photo, featuring a close-up of fern branches with the same powerful message.

Kate, the Princess of Wales, is sharing both a personal message of hope and a personal photo in honor of World Cancer Day. Kate, who announced in January that she is in remission from cancer, shared a photo of herself Monday standing outside in nature with her arms stretched wide.
