In the foothills, Golden is forecast to break its current record high for Feb. 3 by more than 10 degrees, National Weather Service forecasters said.

DENVER (KDVR) — After a mild weekend, near-record-warm temperatures are in Denver’s weather forecast to start the workweek. Sunday night will be partly cloudy and mild. Low temperatures will only fall to 40 degrees, which is more than 20 degrees above average low temperatures for this time of year.

A few records may fall on Monday, with a warm start to the workweek and mostly sunny skies over the Front Range in the Denver weather forecast.

Temperatures in Denver were expected to climb to 59 degrees and fall to 32 overnight Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will jump into the lower and even middle 60s for the first few days of February. Sunday will be mostly cloudy but mild and breezy. Sunshine returns in abundance to kick off next week as Denver climbs into the middle 60s.

Monday will be the warmest day of the week, with high temperatures in the upper 60s across the Denver metro area. It will stay mild and dry across the plains for the work week.
