Kansas basketball should be celebrating a Big 12 Conference road victory. Instead, the Jayhawks are dealing with a disappointing loss at Baylor.

Robert Wright III scored 20 of his 24 points in the second half, and Baylor rallied from a 21-point deficit late in the first half for an 81-70 victory over No. 11 Kansas.

KU hasn’t won in Waco since 2020. Fortunately for the Jayhawks, though, this Bears squad has a couple of weaknesses that KU can exploit. Baylor’s defense is lacking. The Bears struggle to defend and often send opponents to the foul line. If the Jayhawks can get off to a fast start and force Baylor to get into foul trouble — KU should win.
