Nuri Şahin’s record as manager was atrocious. His BVB team picked up an average of 1.48, which is, according to Stefan Bienkowski, the worst record for a Dortmund coach in 17 years. While the issues at the club are certainly not all down to the manager, it is clear that Şahin was a big problem.
