Minnesota Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo's toe injury will cost him at least another three weeks, the team announced Friday.

Timberwolves starting point guard Donte DiVincenzo hurt his toe during a Jan. 15 matchup against the Warriors and has been on the shelf ever since. He was initially ruled out indefinitely with what at the time was called a Grade 3 toe sprain.

It’ll represent the durable DiVincenzo’s first DNP of the season for the T’wolves and puts a damper on an anticipated matchup between offseason trade partners.

There was no Villanova reunion. There was no anticipated spat with Rick Brunson to keep an eye on. Former fans didn’t have the chance to watch him play on the Garden floor during what has been a hot streak for the Delaware native.
