Friday, the Army released the names of two of the three soldiers who were in the DC helicopter-plane crash and are now presumed dead. One is from MD.

D.C. police have identified the man who was shot and killed in Northeast on Saturday. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), shortly after 5 p.m. on Jan. 25, officers responded to a residential building in the 1500 block of Benning Road.

Several people from Maryland were killed in the horrific DC plane crash, including members of the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Wednesday night’s plane crash near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is hitting close to home, as many of the victims are from Maryland.  That includes one of the soldiers on the Black Hawk helicopter.
