After Senior Bowl reports, Miami QB Cam Ward is 'likely' to be the No. 1 pick over Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft.

NASHVILLE - With the Tennessee Titans sitting on the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the rumors are already beginning to spread about the organization's view of the top quarterback prospects in this year's draft class.

While Sanders' game is undeniably polished for his age, there are many analysts - including former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton - who believe he's not the most-talented quarterback in this draft class. Instead, Newton believes Cam Ward deserves that honor.

In the latest mock from our Christian D’Andrea — a top-five mini-mock — he had Ward going No. 1 to the Tennessee Titans. But in Bucky Brooks’ first NFL.com mock of the season, he had Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders going as the first overall pick to the Titans, with Ward going No. 3 to the New York Giants, who are also desperate for a quarterback.

All I can say after reviewing the top of this year's NFL Draft class is that it's going to be a lot of fun. With very few sure-fire studs at the top compared to a year ago, expect evaluations to differ wildly from person to person on how to stack up this class.
