The Saints will be represented at the 2025 Pro Bowl Games after all. Starting center Erik McCoy accepted an invite as a first alternate for the event:

Mike Evans added to his Pro Football Hall of Fame-worthy resume on Monday with his sixth Pro Bowl selection. The Bucs receiver will replace injured Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb on the NFC roster for the NFL’s 2025 all-star event,

That'll make it a full eight Lions players who can add a Pro Bowl to their resume this offseason. Detroit had seven players make the initial roster — quarterback Jared Goff, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, center Frank Ragnow, Sewell, safety Brian Branch and punter Jack Fox — and had 11 players named as alternates.

The National Football League announced today that New Orleans Saints center Erik McCoy has been named to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. McCoy replaced Philadelphia Eagles center Cam Jurgens, who will not participate with the Eagles qualifying for the Super Bowl.
