The NWSL, which has long struggled with scheduling because most of its teams are secondary tenants in their stadiums, was once ridiculed by fans and players for delayed releases. Now, in 2025, it has turned around its schedule in record time, less than two months after its 2024 championship.

NWSL regular season schedule has arrived and with it comes 190 total games with 182 regular season matches, seven playoff games, the 2025 Challenge Cup, and the return of Decision Day. The Challenge Cup will kick off the new season with a rematch of the NWSL Championship between Orlando Pride and Washington Spirit on March 7,

The NWSL released its 2025 calendar on Wednesday, including a Decision Day and Rivalry Weekend across 190 games.
