I will bet all day and every day as good as the Mustang GTD is for $320+K, the C7 ZR1 ZTK A8 is faster at The Ring thanks to Mr. Jim Mero and the C7 Corvette Development team. Oct 23, 2024 · The problems with considering wheel-to-wheel racing with a ZR1 are cost, and having nothing to prove. There are few, if any, amateur w2w events that accommodate a car of this caliber, and you certainly don't want to risk rubbing fenders with a 25 year-old C5 for sport.
